A contemporary waterfront mega-condominium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, sold for $ 28.5 million, marking the most expensive home sale in Broward County.

According to Zillow’s list of records, a 13,800-square-foot home located in the gated community of Sagamore Cove in Las Olas Isles sold for about $ 4 million last week, more than the next most expensive sale in the county. Tim Elms and Addison Raff of the Elms Group of Compass were on the list.

“This sale, which sets another record for Broward County, strongly supports the fact that the South Florida market has not slowed despite a national slowdown,” Hermes said in an email. “There is still great demand from buyers in the ultra-luxury space, which continues to be driven by ultra-high net worth taxes and pandemic migration.”

The buyer was from Europe, but Hermes refused to further identify them. Public records have not yet been made available. Thomas Pichet of Globality Investment represented them.

7-bedroom, 11-bathroom homes have been on the market for several years now. Records show that it was recently listed for nearly $ 35 million in January.

According to the list, this house is a “yacht owner’s paradise” with 250 feet of water, boat lifts and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Built in 2020, it also offers bright and open floor plans and window walls that surround the waterfront.

Facilities include a chef’s kitchen with an adjoining family room, a gym and spa, a game room, a home theater, a temperature-controlled wine room, an office next to the garage suitable for displaying the finest cars, and on the third floor. There is a club. According to the list, a room with a wet bar. The main bedroom suite has a private terrace, 2 bathrooms and a closet, and a massage room.

Outside, there are plenty of covered and uncovered lounge areas, lap pools and outdoor kitchens. There are also several balconies.

“On a street with a private gate with only seven other homes, the abundance and walkability to Las Oras made this property very attractive,” Hermes said. “This house was the only true point lot on the street and at the same time the best lot, and was the finest, turnkey-friendly house available primarily in the city.”

The underlying property was finally sold for $ 3,435,000, according to PropertyShark records. The seller was not available due to comments.
