The scope of the refurbishment included the restoration of a long shutter connection to Grand Central Terminal and the top-down modernization of the lobby on the ground floor of the building.Designed by MdeAS ArchitectThe two-story 50,000-square-foot lobby includes travertine-covered columns, terrazzo floors, bronze statues, and wooden finishes.
Earlier this month, 200 Park Avenue won the prestigious NYCxDesign Commercial Lobby and Amenity Awards and was nominated for the NYC Shining Moment category in recognition of the new lobby.
Additional upgrades include a complete suite of hospitality-inspired health and wellness amenity spaces run by Tishman Speyer’s ZO.
