Fulton, NY – About eight acres of land, a very creative wife, and a dream Bryan Campbell had a roadmap of what he wanted to do when he was approaching retirement.

“I always wanted to run a bed and breakfast,” he said. “After we retired, I wondered how to do your own home-based business.”

He loves to cook and depicts running his business on his wife’s land on State Highway 3, 4055 near Fulton. The property was beautifully backed up Emerald Crest Golf Course It was close to world class fishing on the Salmon River and Lake Ontario. In winter, guests can cross the country and snowmobiles.

His wife, Kathy, Campbell says, “I am amazed by her artistic talent.” She was able to create and decorate a charming and comfortable home where people would want to stay and relax.

(Military veteran Brian is very proud of the display of the American flag in the vestibule with nine bags of concrete and 22 rebars. “I did it myself,” he said. Told.)

From 1994, they started working on their designs.

“We did a lot of research,” he said. “We looked up a lot of books and a lot of magazines.”

Completed in 1996 by Phoenix architect Ron Brown, a vast 3,854-square-foot ranch with five bedrooms and five bathrooms was created.

Unfortunately, they never welcomed guests to their new home.

Brian was appointed to a new position and was forced to spend a lot of time outside the state. He was uncomfortable with his wife being alone with a stranger.

The elaborate coffee machine equipment found in outdoor buffet stations and restaurants was not used in the attic.

However, the change in plan meant that couples and their extended families could enjoy the home.

Campbell is a singer and actress Olivia Newton-John who owns this property. “Xanadu.”

The wonderful two-story room had what Brian always wanted, a 26-foot brick fireplace. At Christmas, the room is the “family center” and is adorned with 18-foot-high wood. The room is large enough to accommodate an 86-inch TV with surround sound.

Ceiling fans reach out from the cathedral ceiling to keep the spacious room “cozy and comfortable” when the fire is on fire.

Holiday dinners are served in Campbell’s favorite room, the spacious kitchen.

Self-proclaimed “I want to be a chef” means that he likes to “spin” while cooking and trying new dishes. The kitchen was designed so that everything is within reach.

The Owner’s Ensuite has a spacious bedroom with an oversized walk-in closet, a marble jacuzzi-style bathtub with gold leaf accents, two sinks, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The bedroom has a cedar hot tub that seats eight people and a private door to the underground heated pool. The pool house has a washbasin, toilet and room for changing clothes.

The guests did not enjoy the property, but the couple’s grandchildren enjoyed it very much for many years.

They can explore some of the wooded lands, play games on “easy-to-maintain” lawns, or dive and slide down into the pool.

In winter, they ride their bikes and skateboards in a spacious 88-foot-long basement called the “bowling alley.”

According to Campbell, the house is versatile and can accommodate any plans a new owner can imagine.

You can leave it as a fun and comfortable family house, perfect for holidays and reunions, or use it as a bed and breakfast or Airbnb for its intended purpose.

Campbell says he feels it’s time to make it smaller and smaller. He will stay in the area to stay close to his children and his grandchildren.
