A five-story Los Angeles home built for entertainment is on the market for $6.75 million.

The newly completed home is located in the city’s Sherman Oaks neighborhood and has approximately 8,000 square feet of interior space and an additional 4,000 square feet of exterior space. Earlier this month, it went public alongside Andrew Manning of Berkshire Hathaway Home Service California Properties and Brad Downs of Rodeo Realty.

“It’s an opportunity for anyone who wants a living and entertaining space in a convenient location where they can dive into the valley or hop on Mulholland to the West Side,” Manning said. It has many private schools, lots of facilities, and is located on a quiet street in a busy neighborhood.”

The five-story home took five years to complete, from obtaining permits to dealing with pandemic-related delays, according to agents. Between the home and the added pool and spa, the city supports the structure. required the construction team to install more than 60 caissons.

“We literally built a fortress,” said Manning, who has been involved in developing the property from the beginning.

The main living area includes a double living room with fireplace surrounded by glass walls and sliding doors open to the outdoor space. There is also an open dining area and kitchen with Miele appliances, custom cabinets, a wall of wine coolers, a walk-in pantry, and even access to the balcony.

“Every room has some kind of view: canyons, mountains, canyon lights,” says Manning.

Upstairs are three bedroom suites, including a two-story primary bedroom suite. The lower level has a sleeping area with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city and a walk-in closet. The rep explained that the second floor has a “loft-style” bathroom with a deep soaking tub and rain shower, and access to the pool and outdoor area.

The upper level, called the Sky Lounge, includes a pool and spa, observation deck, outdoor kitchen, and living and dining areas.

There’s also an “entertainment level,” Manning said, which includes a home theater with a 110-inch screen, a bar, a gym, and a fourth bedroom or office. Below is his oversized two-car garage and a separate studio space that functions as an office or gallery. Elevator he serves all 5 floors.

According to PropertyShark records, the underlying property was last sold in 2017 for $615,000.
