The vast waterfront compounds on the eastern side of Lake Tahoe are on the market for $ 55 million.

Known as the Wovoca Estate, the estate is owned by Christopher and Camille Bentley, owners of the Bentley Heritage Distillery, which is shut down in Minden, Nevada. Approximately five acres of land near Zephyr Cove, on approximately five acres, is home to six buildings: the main building, two guest houses, a waterfront studio, and two “wooden forts.” A compound is actually a combination of two separate properties that the owner purchased and combined in 2013.

According to listed agent Cliff Chase, the main building was designed by renowned architect Theodore Brown. He adopted a geometric design to create what he calls the “Mountain Impressionist Design Style”. The house has three bedrooms, a wine cellar, a theater, and a wonderful room with a large stone fireplace and 19-foot-high windows overlooking the lake.

The property features a private sandy beach, two lifts, a stone boathouse with three buoys, and a breakwater pier with a private pier, creating a private bay atmosphere. There are waterfalls and streams on site, as well as the Infinity Edge seawater pool.

“This property has everything,” Chase said. “Wovoka means being in harmony with nature, which really shows how everything is integrated with the natural environment.”

According to asset records, the adjacent site was purchased in 2013 for $ 20.9 million and $ 4.95.

According to Chase, the property is likely to appeal to high-end buyers looking for a Tahoe hideout. He said being on the “East Shore” has its advantages, including enjoying the sunsets and tax incentives of Nevada.

The Wall Street Journal Bentleys previously reported that he had spent time between Glenbrook’s mansion and his San Francisco home, but moved to Scotland. According to the couple’s representative, the couple are still planning to spend time in San Francisco, but they are selling the Nevada Distillery for sale.

The couple also sells a ranch known as the Bentley Ranch outside the town of Minden for $ 100 million.
